J. Pattison's jewelry is created to reflect human imperfection and the elevated beauty existing in the midst of it.  Each delicate piece is hand-shaped by J. Pattison, creating a natural one-of-a-kind character.

J. Pattison has a B.A. in International Studies and a minor in Studio Art.  After observing the significant rural poverty while living in Namibia as a young adult, she moved to Australia as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar to study social enterprise, earning her M.A. in Commerce.  She spent subsequent years teaching at universities in the subject of sustainable business.  Now settled in Austin, J. Pattison co-operates an art studio and creates modern jewelry designs that are flattering and versatile.

Having previously been a university teacher in the subject of Sustainable Business, J. Pattison employs earth-friendly practices, from material selection to profit donation.

Making the most of what our earth has to offer, each leather item is made from re-purposed, and often vintage, leather.

Gold and silver are the ultimate jewelry materials for those with extremely sensitive ears.  All the items J.Pattison creates are either 14K Gold filled, solid sterling silver, or 14k gold and silver plated.  Those with the utmost sensitivities should choose only the gold filled and sterling pieces from the collection.

J. Pattison donates 50% of all profits to organizations that serve those with the least resources, at home in Austin, Texas and abroad in various underdeveloped countries.
